My iPhone is used more as a computer than as a phone. I also use it on a WiFi system at home and at work. That's faster than 3G.
So I continue with the apps I have and use.

iOm has relaxing chants. You can also chill out, tending your little sand iZenGarden2. Follow prayers for the particular day with the Rosary.
Touch Life lets you touch base in Second Life. ThinkingMap lets you mind map ideas and / or projects. Kaleidoscope lets you relax and zone out. There are also apps for audio recording, Freelance helps you find a job or employee.
Emergency gives you a flashing red, blue, green, yellow, orange or white light. Use the blue one at your next rummage sale. Try to avoid temptation with the red lens...
Wave is for Google Wave.
Storyboard Composer was $19.99 and worth every penny. It lets you do storyboards and organize your video production and shots.

Distance lets you know how far you have biked, walked or jogged. You can have a map, time and altitude logged. There are 4 RSS readers. I like note taking programs, and these let you add maps, audio, pictures, drawings, links and video.
Dictation is Dragon Dictation, put in the earphones for best results, speak into the mic and your words are transcribed.
Go Daddy manages my domains there and lets me read email. Informant syncs with my Google calendar.

The last screen...
iheartradio lets you listen to mainly Right Wing radio stations across the country. I think it's a lot of Clear channel stations. If you are a fan of Rush Limbaugh, this one's for you. It's good for picking up local breaking news when something happens.
SHOUTcast lets me listen to Alex Jones as well as Mr. Perkins in Jamaica.
Pandora and Slacker are great for finding that music you enjoyed in the past. Scanner911 lets you listen to Police Calls around the country. The other day at work I saw cops poking around in the neighbor's back yard and I was able to tune in.
Concert Vault has LOADS of recorded concerts, spanning decades. Dub Siren lets you listen to about 8 Reggae stations and add dance hall DJ effects. C2CAM is the famous Coast to Coast program, with Art Bell stopping by every so often from Manila. There are also a few more audio recording programs.
Don't forget the iPod program from the first screen lets me listen to the 60 CDs I put on the iPhone, the 3 movies, 16 TV shows and the 500 mile auto race I recorded.
The phone helps pass the time on a commute, or waiting for the Doctor.
It's a light weight, portable and dependable tool. It makes me money, makes my life easier and helps me to be creative.

Every day I look at CNN and the CBS Report Now app and plan for that next disaster or event in my neighborhood, so I can report it. MUST GETS: News Fuse, Newspapers and Mobi iNet - each provides links to multiple other sites, freeing up app spots.

Brushes is one of the BEST drawing application for the iPhone. Well, worth the money for this one. Color Splash lets you make a picture black and white, giving you the option to colorize selected portions of the image.
PS Mobile is a mini PhotoShop for the iPhone. Unbelievable this is free - a Must Get.
SlowShutter lets you keep the shutter open for up to 2 seconds. Photogene lets you add text balloons and graphic boarders. Pix Remix creates collages for websites and email. VintageMaker is exceptional, letting you fun video through filters to make them '20s Black & White filmreel, Black and White, and '70s home movie effect.

Let's buy and sell stuff! Cyclops, RedLaser and pic2shop use the built in camera to scan UPC barcodes and tell you where you can get the item and how much it will cost. This is great for pricing books in the field, to decide if they are worth reselling.
Lent allows you to keep track of the stuff you lend to others, while MyStuff and StuffFinder help you track and locate all of it. CraigsPro, thirstypocket and GarageSale let you sell for free or buy things. iGarageSale shows you all the yard sales in your area listed on Craigslist, arranged on a map so you can find your way to the locations.
JotNot lets you take pictures of receipts or documents, and send them as .jpg, .png or or .pdf files. This too is a MUST HAVE.
TV-Guide is customizable for your location, and saves me the trouble of waiting for 400 channels to scroll by on channel 100.

Real Racing was $9.99 I think and would have been worth twice that much. It's a great racing game that is a lot of fun and even sends your fastest practice times to YouTube.

I read an article in The New York Times about a woman with dozens of shoes and only 5 apps on her iPhone.
I have three pair of shoes and a pair of flip flops. I have some funeral shoes I forgot to include before, although I'm sure those don't fit anymore.
But back to the apps.You only get room for 164 apps. 20 of those are Apple's and you can NOT delete them. There are no folders you can store apps in. iTunes hold all the information from you iPhone and all the apps you have downloaded. If you take an app off the iPhone, it hangs out in the Limbo of iTunes and can be resurrected. You don't have to pay for it a second time.
So here we go...
These are the apps that come with the iPhone from Apple. You can't remove them. You can rearrange them. The 4 apps on the bottom bar will show up on every "page." Personally, from this page, I do not need Calendar, Stocks, Notes is duplicated (better, elsewhere) and Compass can be found in Maps. Weather can go too, as Weather Channel is more robust. There are other apps better than Voice Notes.

Now with the second page on, these are apps I purchased or got for free in the App Store. This second page is a Social Media page of sorts. Flook might be on the next to go list, along with 12UP and Loopt. The Ustream Broadcaster works quite well, especially with a WiFi connection.
Shiny Search is an app I will explain more in a future post. It provides links to a lot of social networking sites and others: Amazon, Facebook, Squidoo, Flickr, eBay, LinkedIn, Stumble Upon, Wordpress, and more. Shiny Search is worth getting.

I use TwitPic all the time - at least every day. * A Tweet * and Quick Words are great apps that let you assign a work or phrase to a single key. Kindle lets you read the Amazon selections on the iPhone and is a free app. Around Me will give you churches, theaters, gas stations and more around wherever you happen to be.

PreSize is an excellent app that helps you measure items that you can rest on the iPhone screen. I keep the informative SerialKiller app next to the Bible, but Killa is on the exit list. MemStatus is one of the better programs to show and free memory on your iPhone. AppBox Pro is filled with helpful apps: flashlight, unit converters, tip calculator and many more - must have. Messages, sorry at 30 cents each I rarely text. I have 5 accounts hooked up to the email. iDisk has MobileMe and will track down your iPhone with GPS if it escapes your grasp.
Wattpad - MUST HAVE. Lots of Free eBooks available, classics too. You can even get FREE books by Charles Bukowski. You can Write your own stories, and publish them to Wattpad!

Take a picture with your phone, upload it on twitpic.com and wait a few seconds for it to show up in twazzup.com. Great resource for finding people to follow.

Wave's search capabilities are most powerful when you chain criteria together to see custom lists of your waves. Here are a few useful Wave search recipes you can try.
